Developed full-stack web application “ClimateView” in Python, SQL and HTML/CSS, which automates and improves solar resource assessment analysis including:
Monte Carlo simulation tool with built in optimization of all cleaning scenario permutations to better model the effects of soiling and cleaning on PV performance
Automatic data analysis of all EDF remote meteorological stations in the U.S.
Spectral Corrections for CdTe, Mono-Si and Poly-Si modules.
Bifacial gain estimation
Completed detailed resource assessment studies and energy performance models for utility scale photovoltaic powerplants in the U.S. and Mexico.
Completed the Bluemex project [90MWac] in Sonora, Mexico.
Studied the effect of AOI on soiling and developed a new model with diffuse dependance, which improves the performance of existing models.
Automated parts of time consuming processes including PV layout creation in AutoCAD.
